Gary Shaw - President
Gary is a project manager with more than 20 years of team-based experience, providing strong leadership in analysis,
development and implementation of financial services applications. He is experienced in providing innovative solutions meeting business objectives and
establishing a strong client relationship. He has a history of building highly motivated and competent teams and communicating effectively at all organizational
levels.
Prior to forming this consulting practice, Gary spent 3 years as Principal and Vice President of Software Architecture at the Quantitative Research Group (QRG). His
responsibilities included software evaluation and purchase recommendations, establishing standards and procedures, and quality assurance. He also led the modeling,
design and development of QRG's research and application databases and supporting infrastructure.
Before that, Gary was a project manager of the Global Investor Services Data Warehouse at JP Morgan Chase. His responsibilities included participating in JAD
sessions to formulate business requirements, and application design and development following six-sigma and CMM methodologies.
While at JP Morgan Chase, Gary also worked on a legacy to client-server conversion project that involved the migration of custody transaction data from a DB2 to
an Oracle database.
Before that, Gary provided a range of solutions to Wall Street firms on projects involving fixed-income, equity trading, foreign exchange and electronic funds
transfer using legacy and client-server technology.
B.Sc. in Mathematics with Honors from University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
M.B.A in Finance with Honors from Fordham University Graduate School of Business in New York.
